一到Visitor Center，發現參加local tour全部都是爺爺奶奶！
載我們的司機伯伯叫Joe，住在Charleston已經超過30年了
講話的時候帶有重重的南方口音 (需要仔細聽才能聽得懂 ^^||)
Charleston被喻為the origin of southern culture, 亦被稱為The Best Mannered City~
城市裡有很多的古老教堂，也曾是美國黑奴時期熱門的Black slave market
Joe帶我們繞完Charleston一圈，讓我感覺好像回到美國百年前的殖民地
它的建築很特別，都是粉色系列 (pastel colors)
Anjojo覺得在她去過的cities當中，Charleston是最美麗的美國城市 (so far)
原本計畫中午十二點離開，結果待到下午兩點才走
到達Savannah已經快五點了
Food Network的名廚Paula Deen所開的餐廳Lady and Sons五點就開門
之前聽說很難拿到位子，因為去光顧的人實在太多
果然，我4:45pm走到餐廳門口，已經看到長長的隊伍
既然如此，Anjojo就先在市內觀光一下
之前做質料搜集的時候，在一個blog上看到Savannah的歷史
她是美國第一個有都市規劃的城市，為了讓民眾有舒適的環境
政府在馬路中間保留綠地，以正方形方式建了很多公園和廣場
如果有看過Forrest Gump這部電影，對片中羽毛飄下來的那一幕應該有點印象 （就是Forrest Gump對著老奶奶說"Life is like a box of chocolates")
其實這幕就取景於Savannah的Chippewa Square，而戲中Forrest坐的bench已經被移到Savannah History Museum

回到Lady and Sons, 人還是很多，所以決定叫take-out
叫了兩道它的signature dishes:
1. Fried green tomatoes (非常greasy)
2. Cornucopia Salad (非常甜)
Anjojo沒有很喜歡，一般來說southern cooking都比較油膩和重口味，不過有機會試試也不錯啦
晚上來到Jacksonville, FL住一晚，明天要往Miami進發咯！

Sorry you didn't seem to like the Fried Tomatoes. Just by the name of it, it actually doesn't sound appealing at all either, hehe~
